Copying photographs to fabric for use in quilts and banners.

Photo on fabric: The original photograph or design is copied either photographically or with a scanner. The original image is then put in a folder unique to the customer and protected as a fine photo. The copy is printed on available fabric, usually white or cream colored muslin, in such a manner that much of the fine detail in the original photo is retained. The printing process is supposed to last for 150 years if not exposed for extended periods to direct light. The process used to copy the photo to fabric is ink, not dye and as such, it is much easier to degrade. It can only be washed by hand and only in cold water with a very mild detergent.

After the print is made, the original photo and the reproduced photo is boxed, and returned to the customer.

Price: for an 8" x 8" block is $10.00 provided no touch up is required on the copy of the original photo.
